Note for users of previous versions:
The OGC Anti-PB system has been removed from this version of OGC.
The reason for this removal is that PB changed their policy to
globally ban any player who modified their software. Therefore,
to prevent you from being globally banned, OGC will no longer
patch PB to disable its detection. Instead, OGC will use advanced
methods to attempt to hide itself from Punkbuster. However, there
is no guarantee that it will not be detected. For this reason it
is suggested that you do not use OGC in clan matches or other
important gaming events, as there is a possibility of being detected
(however, you will NOT be globally banned)
1. The OGC Menu
The OGC Menu is an easy way to change common ogc settings.
To open this menu, press f11 while in game.
Left-Click or press the right arrow key to select an item
Right-Click or press the left arrow key to go back
Use the mousewheel or up/down arrow keys to move through options
2. The OGC Console
The OGC Console gives you full control over OGC’s cvars, binds,
and aliases. To open the console, press the f10 key. Console
commands may also be entered in the “ogc.cfg” file. This file
is automatically executed every time a map loads.
Enter these in a script or the ogc console
To set a cvar, type its name, a space, and then the desired
value in a script/console. For any command which the values
are not described, “0” means off, and “1” is on.
fov – FOV for autoaiming. 180 is all-around.
mode – How to lock targets
0 – lock target closest to crosshair
1 – lock target closest in distance
pingpredict – Lag compensation
This is how much to “lead” a target. This is the
fraction of your ping which to lead. Ping is the
measure of time it takes for data to go from you to
the server, and come back. This value should be the
relative time of just the first transmission. Because
of connection speed differences, the times for each
direction are different. Tweak this for best
aim – Automatic Aiming
shoot – Automatic Shooting
wall – See through walls
glow – Glow shells around players
radar – Radar
ignorewalls – Aim through walls
names – Show names of players over their models
namelength – Max # of characters to show for above
weapons – Show what weapon a player has over their model
bunny – repeatedly jump up and down
nofx – Disable effects(explosions,flashbangs,smokegrenades)
Enter these in the OGC console or a script. If you want to
pass a string with a space in it as one of the arguments, you
must enclose it in quotes.
save – Saves all current cvars, binds, and aliases to save.cfg
q3 – Run a q3 console command. ex: q3 “say hi”
clear – Clear the console
exec – Execute a script. Script must be in ogc directory.
console – Open/close OGC Console
menu – Open/close OGC Menu
bind – Bind a key to a command. Syntax is same as in quake3:
bind mouse1 +aim
Note that OGC binds are SEPERATE from Q3 binds. If you
have a key bound in both q3 console and OGC console,
BOTH commands will be run.
Providing no arguments will list all binds.
Providing only one argument will show what that key is
currently bound to.
unbind – Unbind a key from a command.
alias – Create a command which is an alias for another.
This is same syntax as in quake 1 and 2
alias +aim “aim 1”
The alias can then be used just like any other command.
With no more arguments, it will print all aliases.
With one argument, it will print the command aliased
unalias – Remove an alias. You should try not to have unused
aliaeses lying around. Remove aliases when you are
done with them using this command.
weaponlist – List the current weapon settings.
For each weapon, the speed and offset vector is printed.
The speed is the speed of the projectile that is fired.
For instant-hit weapons(ie. railgun), speed is 0.
Offset vector is 3 numbers which are where to aim at
a target with this weapon. The first number is how many
inches forward, the second number is how many to the
right, and the last is how many up. Use this to make
rockets aim at feet.
weaponset – Set a weapons settings
weaponset name speed forward right up
See above command for description of each parameter.
toggle – Toggles a cvar
This is mainly for scripting. If the cvar is 0, it
will be changed to 1, and vice versa.
cheatvar – Change a “cheat-protected” cvar.
ex: cheatvar r_shownormals 1
